The house Domaines Privilège
A Parisian house that leases its domain names, one client per address.
It all began with a well-chosen word
It all begins with packaging, our original trade. At CBS, in Paris, we learned one simple thing as the orders came in: before choosing a supplier, a client types the name of what they are looking for. The right word, at the right address, brings clients without paying for them one by one.
So we gathered, one by one, domain names that carry these words. Simple addresses that say at once what you will find there. Some speak of our own trades; others of cars to rent, engagement rings, pillows or English lessons—activities we do not practice, but whose names clients search for every day.
Domaines Privilège was born of that. Rather than leave these addresses idle, we entrust them to businesses that will put them to good use, one firm per domain, never two competitors on the same address. The domain remains our property; the business receives its visitors, and we see to it that the address keeps working well.
From the faubourg Saint-Denis, the house works like a craftsman: names chosen with care, and a contact who knows each one and will tell you frankly whether it can bring you clients.
A good domain name is entrusted like a fine address: to one house at a time.
How it works
Lease a domain name,
in three steps
A domain named after a product attracts visits on its own. We route them to you.
-
You choose a domain
From our portfolio, or we suggest ones that fit your activity. It carries the word your customers search for.
-
We connect it
The domain points to the page of your choice, or to a site we build for you. You keep your brand.
-
You pay per visitor
Each month you receive the count of visitors sent. Billing follows that figure, with no fixed rent.
What we are asked most
How is the price set?
Prices are given on request. We take a percentage of the click price, based on visitors the domain sends you. There is no fixed rent.
Do I keep my site and brand?
Yes. With redirection, the leased domain becomes another doorway to your current site.
Do I own the domain?
No. It remains CBS Paris property. It is reserved for you for the full lease term.
How do I know how many visitors I received?
Each month you receive a count of visitors sent by the domain. Billing is based on that figure.
What if I want a full site?
That is level 3: we build the site on the leased domain and handle SEO. You receive the inquiries.
